Board Members

Tom Donaldson – President

Tom is the General Counsel, Secretary and an Executive Vice President of IMC, where he focuses on executing transactions, managing risk and developing relationships with companies of interest. Tom currently serves on the board of directors of IDOC and Arcadia Beverage. Tom was a partner at Morehead Capital prior to its merger with IMC. Prior to these roles, Tom was a partner with McGuireWoods where he represented private funds and their portfolio companies. Tom’s experience includes most aspects of structuring, financing and operating private investment funds and portfolio investments in a wide variety of business operations.

Tom received his MBA and law degrees from Villanova University and his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. He lives in Charlotte with his wife Rikke, and his four children.

Jeff Robinson – Vice President

Jeff is from the Carolinas and has lived in cities throughout the US and in Europe. Jeff is the is the CEO of Reiniger LLC, a sport and healthcare company that develops and sells breakthrough products to help manage odor control and cross-contamination risks in fitness and healthcare. InvisiArmor®SPORT won the 2017 Future Textiles Award in Frankfurt Germany and InvisiArmor® MEDICAL was a finalist.

As an entrepreneur and inventor, Jeff has been involved with companies in the financial, software, real estate, healthcare, and retail sectors. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force where he served on active duty and in the reserves as a computer-communications officer, civil engineer, and public affairs officer.

Jeff received his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelors in Civil engineering and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Jeff resides in Charlotte with his wife Natalie, and two of his three children.

Gigi Egge – Treasurer

Gigi has almost 20 years of experience in the software industry, helping companies leverage technology to run better. She received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. She began her career at SAP as an applications consultant, implementing software solutions with customers such as Eli Lilly, Continental General Tire, and the Georgia Department of Education. After several years in this role, she moved into Field Marketing at SAP, and worked on a variety of teams across the product portfolio, including Human Capital Management, Mobile Solutions, and Analytics. As a Marketing Director, she enjoyed creating and executing multi-channel marketing strategies, with a focus on demand generation, content development, digital marketing and social selling. Gigi recently transitioned out of corporate America to focus on consulting opportunities, as well as volunteering with several organizations within the community, including the Women’s Impact Fund, and the Latin Arts Association at Charlotte Latin School. Gigi has been in the Charlotte area since 1997, and lives in South Park with her husband and three children.

Grisel Fernandez – Secretary

Grisel was born and raised in Lima Peru.  At the age 17 she moved to New York  and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Marketing from Pace University in 1992.  She began her financial services career as a Personal Banker with Banco Mercantil de Venezuela in New York City in 1998. In 2000, she joined JPMorgan’s International Private Bank in New York City, where she worked for five years as VP as a Global Investment Specialist area. She moved her financial practice to Merrill Lynch, Charlotte in 2005 and in 2008 she joined Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly Wachovia Securities) in Charlotte, where she currently holds her Financial Advisor practice.  Grisel is a registered series 7, 31, 63 and 65 advisor. Grisel has over 15 years within the financial services industry and is dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance.
